Trump Fears This Latest Move by Congressional Democrats Could Be the End

Democrat House leaders are preparing to take this next step in their assault on the President.

And if they do, this step could lead to full-blown constitutional chaos.

That’s why Trump fears this latest move by congressional Democrats could be the end.

It’s no secret that Democrats are still apoplectic over the election of Donald Trump in 2016.

They just can’t get it through their socialist, highly educated, haughty and elitist minds, that for some reason Trump beat their golden child Hillary.

And they are still seething over the Mueller report and its vindication of the President.

So, now, Congressional Democrats, increasingly more angry over President Trump’s blanket opposition to their oversight probes, are considering contempt citations against any and all administration officials who “defy” their subpoenas, according to a leading Democrat.

U.S. House Judiciary Committee Chairman, and loud Trump critic, Jerrold Nadler said House lawmakers may very well bundle numerous contempt citations from different House committees into one single resolution that the full House of Representatives could then vote on.

“There obviously are going to have to be, perhaps from our committee and certainly from other committees, other contempt citations to enforce subpoenas,” Nadler told reporters last week.

Asked about bundling the various citations together, the New York Democrat replied: “It’s a great idea. In fact, I suggested it … It just makes sense, to spend as little floor time as possible, to group them together.”

In other words, Nadler was telling his friends in the media and anyone who would listen that House Democrats have already decided to issue citations and are just deciding how to make it happen.

Democrats, of course, control the House and have already shown they are not like Republicans.  Nancy Pelosi and her minions in the House will do what they want, ram through what they want, regardless of whether or not it’s constitutional or even good for the country.

Their absolute hatred of Donald Trump has given congressional Democrats a worse case of Trump Derangement Syndrome than even the ever arrogant and liberal Bill Kristol.

So, a consolidated contempt vote is one option Democrats are considering to force Trump to stop stonewalling these so-called “congressional investigations” into his presidency and business investments.

Another option being mentioned is reviving Congress’s “inherent” contempt authority. Some Democrat leaders say doing so would allow Congress to fine any and all uncooperative administration officials up to $25,000 per day.

And some Democrats are calling for impeachment proceedings against Trump Cabinet members to begin immediately.

Last week, Nadler’s committee voted to recommend the full House bring a contempt of Congress citation against Attorney General William Barr for defying a committee subpoena for the unredacted Mueller report and all underlying material.

The committee vote came just hours after the White House blocked the report’s disclosure by invoking the constitutional and often used executive privilege.

But Nadler also sent a letter to A.G. Barr, offering a resumption of “negotiations” to turn over the Mueller material before the contempt vote comes before the full House.

As the Deep State continues its attacks on the President and the Constitution, we here at Deep State Journal will keep you updated.
