California Democrat Kamala Harris is running for president.
The fake news media claims she may be the strongest contender in the Democrat field.
But Harris just made one massive mistake that drove the final nail in the coffin of her career.
Harris shot to stardom during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.
The freshmen Senator played to the left-wing crowd and used hoaxes and fake news like Kavanaugh supposedly discussing the Mueller investigation with a partner at a prestigious law firm to smear his character.
However, lying in public was apparently not as low as Harris was willing to go.
During a recent Judiciary Committee hearing Harris – as well as Hawaii Democrat Mazie Hirono – attacked Trump nominee Brian C. Buescher to the U.S. District Court in Nebraska over his Catholic faith.
Buescher is a member of the Catholic fraternal organization the Knights of Columbus – which engages in acts of charity and humanitarian aid around the globe – and also supports traditional Biblical values on abortion and homosexual marriage.
Liberals like Harris and Hirono believe Christians can only practice their faith for one hour on Sunday.
Every other waking hour of the day must be committed in service of a secular leftist agenda.
So these two anti-Christian bigots attacked Buescher and demanded he renounce his Christian faith.
“The Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions,” Hirono ranted. “If confirmed, do you intend to end your membership with this organization to avoid any appearance of bias?”
Harris grilled Buescher over what he knew about the Knights of Columbus’ pro-life beliefs when he joined the organization as a teenager, “Were you aware that the Knights of Columbus opposed a woman’s right to choose when you joined the organization?”
Harris and Hirono’s questions were reminiscent of Diane Feinstein attacking Trump’s Seventh Circuit Court of appeals nominee Amy Coney Barrett over her Catholic faith.
Feinstein ranted that “the dogma was strong within you” during Coney Barrett’s confirmation hearing.
Harris smearing a Catholic judicial nominee may sell in a Democrat primary.
But there are 72 million Catholics in the United States.
Al Gore won the Catholic vote 50 to 47 over George W. Bush in 2000, which allowed him to notch a victory in the popular vote.
And Obama won Catholics 54 to 45 and 50 to 48 over John McCain and Mitt Romney in 2008 and 2012.
When George W. Bush won re-election in 2004, he topped Kerry 52 to 47 with Catholics.
And Trump’s 52 to 46 margin with Catholics over Hillary Clinton in 2016 were vital to him flipping Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin into the Republican column.
The numbers are clear for all to see.
The Catholic vote is the swing vote which decides presidential elections.
And Kamala Harris just cemented her status as the leading anti-Catholic bigot in the field.
Should she secure the Democrat nomination, Trump should be able to dispatch her because of her weakness with Catholic voters.
