Nancy Pelosi never misses an opportunity to smear Donald Trump.
But this time the Speaker of the House went too far.
And Pelosi said the one thing about Trump that had everyone talking treason.
A common talking point in the fake news media is that Russian President Vladimir Putin is pulling Trump’s strings.
This began in the third Presidential debate when Hillary Clinton claimed Trump was Putin’s puppet.
The Deep State and their allies in the fake news media quickly adopted this line of attack to smear Trump’s America First foreign policy as somehow being hijacked by Moscow.
There is no question Donald Trump shook up the globalist status quo.
Trump ordered American troops home from Syria and Afghanistan.
And the President questioned why America paid for Europe’s defense from an enemy that no longer exists.
The Deep State was paralyzed with fear that an American President bucked the liberal new world order and wanted to run the country for the benefit of Americans as opposed to foreign elites.
So they seized on the Russia angle – as if handing Vladimir Putin control over a Middle East civil war was a great prize – and smeared Trump as an agent of Moscow.
Speaker Pelosi picked up this torch and released a blistering statement questioning how Vladimir Putin was blackmailing the President of the United States.
Pelosi’s statement read:
“In the face of 37 indictments, the President’s continued actions to undermine the Special Counsel investigation raise the questions: what does Putin have on the President, politically, personally or financially? Why has the Trump Administration continued to discuss pulling the U.S. out of NATO, which would be a massive victory for Putin?
“Lying to Congress and witness tampering constitute grave crimes. All who commit these illegal acts should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. We cannot allow any effort to intimidate witnesses or prevent them from appearing before Congress.
“The Special Counsel investigation is working, and the House will continue to exercise our constitutional oversight responsibility and ensure that the Special Counsel investigation can continue free from interference from the White House.”
But if anyone is following Putin’s marching orders it is Pelosi.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had the goal of sowing discord in the United States.
Pelosi – promoting a baseless conspiracy theory that the President of the United States is acting as the asset of a foreign government – is carrying out Putin’s wishes to a degree beyond the Russian President’s wildest dreams.
The Russian collusion conspiracy theory paralyzed American politics for two years.
President Trump faces multiple investigations all spawned out of the hoax that he worked with the Russians that threaten his friends, family and business.
In reality, President Trump is trying to put America First by bringing our troops home from wars they never should have been involved in and questioning globalist institutions.
And it is the Democrats – led by Speaker Pelosi – that are acting as Russian stooges by falling for the fake news information warfare that Trump somehow secretly worked in concert with Russia during the 2016 election.
