Hillary’s loss continues to eat away at the left.
And they will try anything to make sure Trump loses in 2020.
But you won’t believe the one Constitution shredding plan they have in mind now.
It’s no secret that Democrats and leftists in America are angry.
They still can’t believe their golden child Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump.
And they are furious that the first three years of the Trump administration has brought economic growth, a major jump in minority job growth, and a less aggressive foreign policy.
That’s exactly why, since Trump’s election the left has gotten more angry, more vocal, more radical, more socialist and more violent.
They don’t know how to deal with the fact that a majority of Americans disagree strongly with their policies, and they are willing to try almost anything to force their socialist agenda on the country.
Even to the point of simply throwing away the Constitution.
Their latest scheme is to do away with the Electoral College.
This of course would mean that a handful of states would decide the president forevermore. States with large populations like New York, California, New Jersey and other leftist strongholds would simply cancel out the votes of the majority of states.
The founding fathers knew exactly what they were doing when they created the Electoral College.
But now, led by socialist darling and Democrat presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, the push is on to do away with the Electoral College, and the last line of defense against a socialist oligarchy.
According to the New York Times, Senator Warren, speaking at a CNN town hall at Jackson State University, “added more ideas to her liberal agenda on Monday night: getting rid of the Electoral College, removing Confederate statues, and creating a national commission to study reparations for black Americans.”
Senator Warren continued, “Every vote matters, and the way we can make that happen is that we can have national voting, and that means get rid of the Electoral College.”
Warren is just the latest in a long line of socialist Democrats calling for the repeal of the Electoral College and the complete disfranchisement of voters in the majority of states.
Just recently Colorado became the latest state to join a group of states (up to 12 and the District of Columbia) in the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
This “compact” is an agreement that requires those states to select their presidential electors based on who wins the most individual votes nationwide, regardless of which candidate wins in the state.
While the compact only goes into effect once enough states sign on to make the total number of electoral votes in the compact reach 270, already the addition of Colorado brings the number to 181.
