The efforts by the Deep State and disgraced former FBI Director James Comey gets more bizarre every day.
It appears more and more that they were willing to stoop to any level and break any law to “get Trump” for their Deep State puppet masters.
And now this sex scandal was actually just another bizarre anti-Trump spy operation according to this former CEO.
As if the Deep State attempts to stop Trump needed anymore intrigue and media coverage, along comes former Overstock CEO and libertarian donor, Patrick Byrne, with one of the more bizarre episodes in the FBI files.
Last week, in a shocking development, Byrne resigned from Overstock due to his alleged ties to a secret government spy operation that included an affair with Russian “honeypot” agent Maria Butina.
Following his resignation, Byrne took to CNN and made some bombshell accusations against James Comey and disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok.
During an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Byrne had a lot to say about his role in this spy scandal, as well as Comey and Strzok’s role.
Byrne claimed that FBI agents reached out to him in 2015-2016 to conduct “law enforcement activities” that turned out to be a political espionage operation.
Byrne indicated the request had been passed down from a top FBI official, whom he later learned was anti-Trump agent Peter Strzok.
The former Overstock CEO also said he was sold on the program as a legitimate law enforcement effort, and seemed to imply that he had worked in the past with law enforcement as a “patriotic American.”
Byrne said that the political espionage operation ended up targeting four candidates—Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz.
From there, things just got stranger.
Byrne went on to say that the FBI told him to sleep with known Russian sex spy Maria Butina.
The well-known libertarian donor also claimed he liked Obama and did not vote for Trump.
Though he didn’t say whom he did vote for, one would assume it wasn’t Clinton based on Byrne’s past activities and support of libertarian-leaning candidates and causes.
Byrne also said there will be more whistleblowers coming forward in the near future who will confirm his reports and have more information about the FBI spy operation.
He said he realized that Comey, Strzok, and others were weaponizing national security in a single-minded pursuit of Trump.
Probably of most importance, since it tracks with other information coming out, is that former FBI Director James Comey “100%” knew of the spy operation and of Byrne’s involvement.
However, Byrne did not fully explain why he continued with the operation after he realized it was a political hatchet job, and why he thought his role was to have an affair with a Russian spy in the first place.
