There’s little doubt the US school system has done more to undermine our freedom and liberty than any other single institution.
But it’s not just our government-run schools.
Over the last century, schools have transformed from being places of learning into prisons of the body and mind.
It’s been a slow process, but government hatchet–men figured out how to use our schools as indoctrination camps that produce vile characters who rule against liberty with impunity.
And this disgusting government overreach has now crept into what were once good private schools.
Silver Spring International Middle School in Maryland suspended a 14-year-old boy for three weeks for posting a picture on social media.
In that picture was an inanimate object that ten years ago wouldn’t have raised the least bit of controversy.
But today, a photo of this object was enough to put a school on Defcon 5 and unfairly remove the 8th grader from schooland cause him to miss an incredible milestone with classmates.
… And all because the teen was caught posing in a goofy picture with a toy gun.
You read that correctly, twisted school administrators thought that a young kidclowning around with a toy weapon was a valid reason to suspend him and make him miss school. (Not that he was worse off, as missing school was probably a blessing in disguise for this adolescent.)
Nonetheless, his suspension yields a glimpse into the incredibly toxic culture the government and the left-leaning media have successfully cultivated against the Second Amendment.
Lenore Skenazy, writing for Reason magazine, noted that after he was suspended, the child “did not get to graduate with his class in June. This was his punishment for appearing in the background of a friend’s video in which said friend held a disabled airsoft gun. The eighth-grader also posed for a photo with the friend, who held him in a headlock with the fake gun.”
When asked why he posed with a gun, he said he was trying to look like a “bada**.”
And what eighth-grade boy hasn’t held a toy gun in his hands and NOT felt like a bada**?
They impart a mechanical advantage to a person that makes them more capable of defending themselves against another…
And that kind of power is so important for the protection of life and liberty that the framers of the Constitution enshrined into law…
And that makes us “bada**” enough to handle tyrants and criminals who would dare do us harm.
But now the entire nation, including private schools, are in on the plot to make guns out to be evil.
And this story of an innocent child doing something that was 100% legal, and 100% safe, and 100% protected by the law of the land, proves they’re succeeding at a rate no one could have ever expected.
Do all you can to raise the alarm.
But most important, be sure you’re prepared to defend your freedom for the day when all hope seems lost.
