The war between the mainstream media and the President is one of the most evident and chilling signs that the state of our union is a real mess.
As networks like NBC, CNN, and MSNBC fabricate nonsensical stories and pitch them as gospel truth, we’re beginning to watch the aftershocks rip the fabric of our nation to shreds.
And now, a major news outlet’s terrifying plans to try and decimate Trump was just exposed.
It’s one thing for a T.V. channel to accidentally air inaccurate information based on their understanding that the story they’re presenting is 100% fact.
It’s another thing altogether for a news channel to take details of a story, throw them in a blender and pull out a fake-news story and plaster it across the airwaves,pretending it’s truer than 2+2 = 4.
But that’s precisely what CNN did when they ran a story discussing Trump endangering the life of a high-level intelligence agent.
The premise of the story was simple.
Because Trump is a blithering idiot, the CIA pulled an agent out of an embedded position in Russia. The CIA supposedly feared Trump would leak top-secret information that may compromise the agent and cause him to be killed.
As it turns out, this wasn’t even remotely true, even though CNN continues to assert it was.
Looking at the facts, which include CIA memos, they were going to bring the agent home long before anyone even knew Trump was going to be President.
In fact, the reason behind their decision to extract him had more to do with the media creating an inhospitable environment for their agent than a President wrecking the agent’s life.
Streiff, a reporter for Red State, provided details for exactly what happened.
“…the government had indicated that the source existed long before Mr. Trump took office, first informally accusing Russia of interference in October 2016 and then when intelligence officials declassified parts of their assessment about the interference campaign for public release in January 2017.
News agencies, including NBC, began reporting around that time about Mr. Putin’s involvement in the election sabotage and on the C.I.A.’s possible sources for the assessment.
The following month, The Washington Post reported that the C.I.A.’s conclusions relied on ‘sourcing deep inside the Russian government.’ And The New York Times later published articles disclosing details about the source.
The news reporting in the spring and summer of 2017 convinced United States government officials that they had to update and revive their extraction plan, according to people familiar with the matter.”
CNN’s decision to craft this story had only one intent – to try and sink another arrow into the Trump re-election campaign.
Had they been concerned with journalistic integrity, they’d have never run this story since it was a complete fabrication.
But because they’re blinded by hate for Trump, and because their controllers are desperate to stop Trump, they invented this story out of thin air.
At the end of the day, it’s just one more in a long list of fake-news stories perpetuated by the mainstream media to oppose a President they hate and who’s ruined everything they’ve sought to build over the past decade.
It’s no wonder the American people overwhelmingly distrust the media, and why hashtags like #JournalismIsDead are popping up all over.
