Deep State Is Enraged to Realize Donald Trump is about To End Their War on Free Speech

The Deep State, a nefarious blend of some of the vilest members in our society, has only one goal.

This deep-seeded goal is to prevent anyone who opposes their grip on the DC swamp from attacking them out in the open where their lies can be exposed by the light of truth.

That’s why they despise and ignore the Constitution – and it’s why the Deep State is enraged that Trump is about to end their war on free speech.

When the framers of the Constitution drafted the revolutionary document, they did so knowing that tyrants would one day try to dismantle the freedoms they had fought and died to protect.

Implicit in the creation of the Bill of Rights was the understanding that these “inalienable rights” served freedom-loving people in their ability to fight against tyranny forever.

That’s why the Deep State hates the Bill of Rights so much. Because these rights stand in their way of pulling off the grandest heist of all time – stealing America from her people.

Nowhere is that more evident than in today’s war on speech.

The war on free speech demonstrates perfectly well why the founders sought to protect free speech in the first place.

Being able to call out evil gives us the chance to raise the alarm and get rid of it altogether.

However, over the past few years, the monsters living under our beds have been successful at dismantling most forms of free speech.

This has come in the form of hate-speech laws, online censorship, and the proliferation of fake news at the expense of real, investigative journalism.

The sad truth is free speech is not what it used to be.

However, Donald Trump could be changing all of that for good.

Over the past few weeks, President Trump has been working on creating new trade agreements between Mexico and Japan.

In those agreements, he’s spelled out in the most explicit language how he plans to help protect free speech online.

Eric Boehm, writing for Reason.com, said the following: “His trade agreements effectively duplicate the promise made by Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, a 1996 law that protects online speech by freeing platforms from liability for user-created content.”

Section 230 is often referred to as the First Amendment of the internet.

And by employing it in formal agreements between nations, it essentially codifies the act into international law.

Clark Packard, who serves on the trade policy counsel for the R Street Institute, noted that this new global standard would help expand the discourse online.

Packard said, “These laws prevent websites from being sued for their users’ content, and they are fundamental to the United States’ preeminence in the digital space.”

Obviously, the Deep State is furious about this development.

If the agreements are signed, it makes their road to limit free speech here and abroad far more difficult.

And if people are able to voice their opinions freely and companies are no longer held responsible for what their users say, it opens the door for the light of truth to shine ever brighter into the darkness.
