If you had asked the average Trump supporter what the chances were that President Trump would be impeached following Mueller’s testimony in July, they’d have confidently told you zero chance.
And even when “Ukraine-gate” broke some weeks ago, you would’ve heard the same confidence.
However, Donald Trump’s impeachment proceedings could go nuclear all because of this damaging leak.
The leak may not have any truth to it, but that doesn’t matter one bit to the Democrats, Never-Trump “Republicans,” nor the left’s propaganda wing known as the media.
The Deep State has been slowly crafting a compelling argument regarding the Ukraine scandal to make it appear like Donald Trump betrayed his oath of office.
In the world of fake news, appearance is everything.
It doesn’t matter if it’s already been proven that the so-called “whistleblowers” had ties to Adam Schiff and Joe Biden…
…Or that the Democrats have run a sham operation from the beginning.
What matters is what the fake news media is reporting.
What matters is how they’re spinning all the distortions of the truth.
And yesterday, one of the most damaging testimonies of the entire impeachment proceedings took place.
An openly hostile witness went before several Democrat special committees to tell them precisely what they wanted to hear – that President Trump was involved in alarming quid-pro-quo negotiations with a foreign government.
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman serves on the National Security Council.
Allegedly, he was a direct witness to the contested phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – and what he heard on that fateful day gave him great concern.
In a prepared statement, Vindman said:
“I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the U.S. government’s support of Ukraine. Following the call, I… reported my concerns to NSC’s lead counsel.
…
I am a patriot, and it is my sacred duty and honor to advance and defend our country, irrespective of party or politics.
…
For over 20 years as an active-duty United States military officer and diplomat, I have served this country in a nonpartisan manner, and have done so with the utmost respect and professionalism for both Republican and Democratic administrations.”
Vindman’s testimony could certainly damage Trump’s reputation and of course will cast him in an unfavorable light.
And that alone could create the illusion the Democrats need to serve up Trump’s ouster.
But herein lies the problem for Americans.
We are not getting the whole picture here.
For every hostile witness Adam Schiff brings forward, a favorable witness could be found. It’s just the Democrats won’t allow that to happen.
They’re not going to give Trump a fair trial. They’re going to create a kangaroo court made up of people who openly hate the President.
But while cherry-picking witnesses and selectively releasing damaging soundbites may benefit their party now, it won’t fool the American public who overwhelmingly supports a duly-elected President.
This is a miscarriage of justice on the grandest of scales, and the insufferable Democrats will suffer the consequences for their scheming whether it be in the upcoming election or the next!
