This breaking news just sent shockwaves through the swamp and now Deep State operatives are hiring lawyers and scurrying to cover their tracks.
Top Democrats are furious that Attorney General Barr is expanding his investigation into top Obama administration officials.
In fact, Barack Obama stopped smiling as soon as he heard this shocking news from the DOJ.
While the Trump presidency remains in real danger from both Democrat impeachment efforts and traitors inside the federal government, there is some good news for Trump.
It appears Attorney General Barr’s investigation into the phony Trump-Russia collusion investigation is bearing fruit.
Both the New York Times and NBC News have reported that Barr’s inquiry has expanded.
And now his point man on the investigation, U.S. Attorney John Durham, seems ready to start issuing indictments.
What began as an investigation into the origins of the Russia collusion probe has now turned into a criminal investigation, and top Obama administration officials may be caught in the crosshairs.
According to NBC reporter Ken Dilanian, “If U.S. Attorney John Durham is conducting a criminal investigation, it’s not clear what allegations of wrongdoing are being examined.”
Well, whatever the “allegations of wrongdoing” may be, a criminal investigation means a possible crime or crimes were committed.
NBC did confirm something constitutionalists and conservatives have been hoping for – that former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and disgraced former CIA Director John Brennan are also targets in Durham’s investigation.
Brennan, who now works for NBC, told NBC News that the investigation into his activities surrounding the Russian collusion hoax is “bizarre.”
According to sources close to the investigation, Durham has not yet interviewed former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe or former FBI General Counsel James Baker.
Of course, as readers of Deep State Journal know, both men are under separate criminal investigations as well.
Durham has also not yet interviewed former FBI agent Peter Strzok, who led the bureau’s counterintelligence division and conspired to bring down Trump and his aides with FBI agent Lisa Page – whom he was also having an affair with.
However, Durham’s team has interviewed more than two dozen current and former FBI agents, leading many legal observers to believe he is building a strong, airtight case before going after the main suspects.
This investigation – which has led Barr and his team literally around the world – could be very bad news for Brennan, McCabe, Clapper, Strzok, Page, and a slew of Obama officials, possibly up to and including, former Vice President Joe Biden.
Other targets of the investigation are various high-level Hillary Clinton campaign staff and State Department personnel.
But while this is good news for President Trump and every American who believes in our constitution, if the investigation drags out too long, it could end up too late.
