A second staffer of U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) was sentenced for this criminal plot against Republicans.
And it all happened with almost no media coverage over the evil Democrat plan to “take out” Republicans.
This all too real Democrat crime was ignored by the media whose sole intent is destroying Donald Trump.
A strange thing happened on the way to the impeachment carnival.
With very little fanfare and almost no press at all, a second staffer to US Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) was sentenced for crimes against Republican members of Congress.
And this crime didn’t depend on Republican operatives or “whistleblowers” to bring prosecution.
No, this was a full-blown, federal crime of the most heinous nature involving two top staff members of a sitting US Senator.
But it’s highly doubtful you read about it in The New York Times, Washington Post, even the Boston Globe.
And you certainly didn’t see the story on NBC, CBS, or CNN, and maybe not even on Fox.
That’s because Democrat crimes against the American people just don’t fit into the media’s narrative.
But, even if a Democrat operative is convicted and there’s no media to cover it, it still happened.
And this time it was Samantha DeForest-Dave, an aide to Senator Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire.
DeForest-Dave assisted former Hassan staffer Jackson Cosko in breaking into the Senator’s office and hacking Congressional computers to obtain the names and personal information of Republican politicians.
Jackson pled guilty in June, claiming his actions were brought on by anger over the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.
He was sentenced to four years in federal prison.
According to multiple reports, Deforest-Davis and Cosko had maintained a “close relationship” even though Cosko had been fired by Senator Hassan in May of 2018.
According to Courthouse News:
“After Hassan fired him in May 2018, Cosko lent Deforest-Davis money for her rent but requested a favor in return. That summer, spurred by anger over Kavanaugh’s Senate confirmation hearings, Cosko repeatedly used Deforest-Davis’ keys to access the senator’s office after hours and hack the congressional computers.”
“He then released the home addresses and phone numbers of Senators Lindsey Graham, Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee on Wikipedia and Twitter, followed later by publicizing information on Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Congressman and at the time Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.”
During the initial investigation into the matter by Capitol Hill police, DeForest-Davis lied to investigators about providing Cosko with the keys to the Senator’s office.
But DeForest-Davis later ended up pleading guilty to aiding and abetting computer fraud, and to a D.C. charge of attempted tampering with evidence.
She received 180 days in federal prison, which was suspended by the judge, and put on two years of supervised probation and 200 hours of community service.
As part of her plea agreement, DeForest-Davis acknowledged that she lied to her employer and the U.S. Capitol Police on several occasions during the investigation.
