Most people assume the Democrats are going to impeach President Trump.
It’s not so much because they believe he’s done anything wrong, but because the Democrats have the majority in the House.
And while it appears the Deep State will get Trump impeached, it could all change as a key Democrat witness may be guilty of a serious crime.
Tim Poole, a former contributor to the leftist website Vice News, recently covered an incredible story that’s received very little attention outside of Fox News.
As Fox reported, one of the witnesses the Democrats recently interviewed seems to have perjured themselves. And if it’s true, the Democrats entire impeachment inquiry could be in jeopardy.
Marie Yovanovitch, former ambassador to Ukraine and known collaborator with the Democrats in Congress, made false statements while under oath for her impeachment deposition.
In emails obtained by Tucker Carlson, Yovanovitch had communicated with a Congressional staffer serving on the Foreign Affairs Committee about the whistleblower report the Democrats had released two days prior.
In the emails, the staffer requested a meeting with Yovanovitch to get her help with a “delicate” and “time-sensitive” issue.
Yovanovitch’s response was both cordial and personable: “Would love to reconnect and looked forward to chatting.”
But this isn’t what Yovanovitch told officials.
In her deposition, Yovanovitch said she didn’t respond to the email from the staffer and insisted someone inside the State Department took over the communications.
In matters like this, it would have been the responsibility of the State Department to speak with the staffer, as Yovanovitch’s position would’ve left her compromised.
But, her emails prove she was complicit in helping the Democrats launch this coup against the President.
And as Tucker Carlson wondered on his Fox News program:
“The whistleblower, however, went to Schiff’s team…before filing the complaint, so the question is: did Schiff’s office tell other Democrats on Capitol Hill what was in the complaint?”
“In other words, how long did this effort play out in secret before the rest of the country learned of it?”
This could undermine the Democrats’ effort to paint Trump into a corner.
The GOP is expected to use this bombshell as a talking point against Yovanovitch in her testimony scheduled this Friday.
