Barack Obama All Smiles After His Friends in the Media Deleted These Articles

In a blatant disregard for truth, facts, and journalism, several major media outlets deleted reports after learning the facts didn’t line up with their narrative.

Showing that liberal bias just isn’t enough, these “journalists” decided to take the masks off and show their true faces.

And Barack Obama was especially all smiles after his friends in the media deleted these articles.

For decades, many on the right have been railing against the liberal media.

During the 1970s and 80s, bumper stickers could be seen on cars throughout the DC metro area that read, “I don’t believe the Washington Post.”

The point is, media bias is nothing new. Heck, it’s the very reason Fox News was established – to counter the monopoly the left had over TV news.

But at least back then journalists still held a tiny bit of integrity and covered most news, even if it looked bad for the Democrats.

Even in the 1990s, the media covered the Bill Clinton sex scandal and impeachment hearings – and actually covered both quite well.

But at some point, the media decided to give up all pretense, strip off the veneer, and proudly proclaim themselves the public relations arm for the Democrat Party and the spokesmen for the left-wing faction.

So it actually wasn’t much of a surprise when several major news outlets in the U.S. and abroad ran stories based on a U.N. report that claimed over 100,000 children are currently being detained in U.S. immigration detention centers.

Outlets including taxpayer-funded NPR, Reuters, Agence France-Presse (AFP), and Aljazeera jumped on the U.N. report – a report that apparently also claimed that the United States has the world’s highest rate of detained children.

Of course, the media outlets were thrilled to report on another “Trump scandal” and give the dim-witted authors, actors, and politicians yet another reason to take to Twitter and decry the horrible treatment of these “kids in cages.”

But then a day later, Reuters and AFP mysteriously – and secretly – scrapped their stories.

It seems the U.N. had contacted the outlets to make sure they understood the numbers reported were from 2015 – which was definitely during the Obama administration.

AFP refused to comment on removing the story at all, nor admit to readers that only stories that make Trump look bad should be published.

At least Reuters had the courage to say they removed the story, telling the Daily Caller News Foundation:

Reuters decided to withdraw its story after the United Nations issued a statement on November 19 saying the number of children in detention was not current but was for the year 2015.”

But their forthrightness only went so far, and they too declined to say why the story was retracted altogether instead of simply corrected with the right information.

If journalists still don’t understand why most Americans consider them “fake news,” then the old adage about journalists being dumb and lazy is true after all.
