When Donald Trump first floated the idea that a clandestine network of people entrenched deep in the federal bureaucracy was in control of a shadow government, most D.C. insiders and media pundits scoffed at him.
They accused him of creating a boogeyman that he could scapegoat all his problems on and didn’t give any credence to the notion that an established elite could be waging a secret war against him.
But now, all that’s changed, and the Deep State just got support from the most shocking group of people imaginable.
It’s hard to determine who exactly makes up the core of the Deep State.
Yes, we can entertain ideas of who runs it. In fact, the wealthier and more liberal a person is, the more likely they’re involved in the Deep State.
Clearly, we are being proven correct that government employees at all levels are involved, and some of them in higher-level positions than we originally thought.
We know they are a group of misguided elitists intellectuals, military, and intelligence officials, media titans, politicians, government bureaucrats, and wealthy socialists who believe they know better than the American people.
But we can’t know for sure who’s in it.
Up until very recently, any attempt to verify the Deep State’s existence would have been laughed at by the Left.
According to them, there was no Deep State.
But now, that’s not true any longer, as the Deep State doesn’t just acknowledge their existence, the Left is encouraging them on in their quest to harm Trump’s presidency.
Shockingly, the New York Times, one of the original Deep State deniers, has come out and admitted that the Deep State is real.
In an article written by a staff writer at the New York Times, they actually applaud the Deep State and say that “The Deep State is alive and well” and here to “rescue the Republic” from Trump.
Paul Krugman, a fellow traveler, and writer for the Times, seems to believe that the Deep State isn’t just a group of closeted pedophiles who want to maintain their grasp on power, but is comprised of hundreds of outstanding individuals that modern Americans should emulate.
On Twitter, he commented on the NYT articles and elucidated on the benevolent qualities of the Deep State, writing, “One side lesson from this inquiry is that the Deep State contains some really impressive, principled people,” NYT columnist Paul Krugman said Thursday on Twitter. “Which is why Trump hates it so much.”
Why does the Left now support the Deep State, especially when two years ago the very same newspaper that congratulates them wrote an article ridiculing Trump titled “What Happens When You Fight a Deep State that Doesn’t Exist?”
It’s probably because, at this point in Trump’s presidency, there’s nary a soul who doesn’t realize the Deep State is alive and well.
Failed Russia gate and Ukraine gate campaigns illustrated that without flaw.
Americans on both the Left and the right can’t help but acknowledge that a vast network of influential people has conspired together to try and oust Trump.
They’ve infiltrated the White House, the media, social media, and have pushed incessantly to craft a campaign to remove Trump.
The fact that they weren’t successful at getting him removed and that all of their plans were exposed for the world to see means they’re not going to be able to sweep this under the rug any longer.
And now that they’re exposed, it’s better to admit the Deep State is real so that they can put a new spin on things and continue to rail against Trump and how he’s destroying the Republic.
Now that the cat’s out of the bag, so to speak, Trump’s supporters should feel emboldened and encouraged, because a known enemy is easier to defeat!
