One thing we can all agree on is the deep state media has a “take no prisoners” approach.
We are living in unprecedented times that will certainly be in the history books for future generations to learn about.
And now American sports is the latest to bow down to the deep state machine.
It hasn’t been this dangerous in America since the Revolutionary War – considering we have an ongoing pandemic and rampant civil unrest over the death of Minneapolis native George Floyd.
Americans all over the country are desperate for normalcy and don’t need further liberal “woke” rhetoric and fearmongering.
For instance, a couple weeks ago, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees said he’ll “never agree” with those who kneel during the national anthem.
Brees was promptly ridiculed and dragged through the mud by the entire sports industry, including by his teammates Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas.
Following the outrage he received, Brees shifted course and apologized profusely for his comments.
Not much later, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced, “We, the National Football League, believe that Black Lives Matter” and officially gave the NFL’s blessing for all players to kneel freely.
That’s when President Trump got involved.
President Trump tweeted, “NO KNEELING.”
In response to Goodell’s address to NFL players Trump said: “Could it be even remotely possible that in Roger Goodell’s rather interesting statement of peace and reconciliation, he was intimating that it would now be O.K. for the players to KNEEL, or not to stand, for the National Anthem, thereby disrespecting our Country & our Flag?”
Well, unfortunately, Trump hit the nail on the head.
An NFL source told Front Office Sports, “We anticipate taking the same approach we’ve taken the last number of years. No discipline will be enacted. No player has ever been fined.”
Actually, that’s not entirely accurate. The NFL had guidelines in place to keep players from kneeling just last year – but it was scrapped after the Associated Press got ahold of the Miami Dolphins new code of conduct that revealed players could be fined or receive up to a four-game suspension for kneeling.
Now the NFL is all but begging players to kneel. Even NASCAR recently announced that the Confederate flag is banned from races.
You can be sure this is only the beginning of many more “woke” changes that’ll be happening in the entire sports industry.
