Congress has granted Big Tech monopolies like Google, Amazon, and Facebook the freedom to operate almost unfettered, putting smaller tech companies at a disadvantage.
It’s also created a monstrosity of corporate censors who are literally deciding which political messages will be seen this vital election year.
In fact, things are so bad, Trump’s very re-election is in jeopardy because of Big Tech’s efforts to censor conservatives.
There’s no longer any doubt that just a few leftist billionaires control the entire internet with an iron grip.
From search engines to email services, to social media platforms and online ads, these men are now deciding what Americans are allowed to see, read, hear, and even talk about online.
So it was no surprise to the editors here at Deep State Journal when the hot story broke this week that fake news organization NBC News complained to their buddies at Google about the highly-regarded conservative outlet The Federalist.
We weren’t even surprised when Google listened to NBC and threatened The Federalist website’s ability to use Google’s ad network.
After all, it was only a matter of time until the far-left billionaires who own the internet would shut down the right.
And this move was important because ad networks are how websites make money. In essence, Google’s threat compromised the very existence of The Federalist.
But then we were surprised by one action.
After NBC’s public proclamation of punishment by Google, the tech titan came out and said they had “merely warned” The Federalist about some comments in their comment section.
So many of us were left scratching our heads. Does Google monitor every site’s comment sections? Do other organizations on the left get the same “warnings”?
Heck, for that matter, does Google monitor all the comment sections in their own ad network? Do they see the vile, toxic, threatening garbage on YouTube? After all, Google owns YouTube.
Well, no. Of course not.
It turns out NBC News got their feelings hurt when The Federalist criticized their reporting – or lack thereof really.
This entire incident brings to light the very fact that the corporate media has been acting as a gatekeeper for the Big Tech giants for decades.
They want to make sure that what is being read and seen on the internet lines up with the talking points of NBC, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.
So it’s actually quite amazing how successful conservatives have been in getting their message out at all.
Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, and the other Big Tech giants now want to control where you and I direct our outrage.
This is why NBC went to Google and asked them to issue some threats to The Federalist and a number of other conservative organizations – and it’s why Google so readily agreed.
This situation is only going to get worse as the elections begin to heat up.
We will see more and more censorship and threats against conservatives in an attempt to uphold the Deep State and end the Trump administration.
