Tom Cotton Finally Gets One Right, Presses DOJ to Investigate This Big Tech Firm

If you thought for a second that former President Obama’s Deep State only had its claws dug into the federal government, think again.

The Deep State is deeply ingrained in every single one of our big corporations and public institutions, particularly the toxic liberal mainstream media, but the mega big tech firms out of Silicon Valley are actually even more dangerous.

Something needs to be done about this and that’s why Senator Tom Cotton finally got something right and is pressing the Department of Justice to investigate this Deep State big tech firm.

We all already know that the gigantic social media platforms are the most obviously toxic part of former President Obama’s Deep State machine. These platforms have manipulated free speech against conservatives in favor of liberals, socialists and their Democrat Party. That’s all painfully obvious.

We also now know that Wikipedia has a vendetta against President Trump, his administration, and even Fox News. Recently, Wikipedia “editors,” who reek of liberal bias, slammed Tucker Carlson in the most incredibly unfair way while disguising it that it’s all fact, instead of opinion.

That’s what President Trump is up against with Obama’s Deep State.

And that’s why even moderate Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) is pushing the Department of Justice (DOJ) to probe whether Google is in violation of antitrust laws on a number of different fronts, including search volume and “monopolistic behavior,” to influence future elections with their own political goals.

In a letter to Attorney General Bill Barr, Sen. Cotton wrote: “In recent weeks, news outlets have reported that the Department of Justice is nearing a decision about whether to take enforcement action against Google for anticompetitive behavior that violates U.S. antitrust law. I ask that the Department also investigate whether Google’s dominance of online searches violates antitrust law.”

Cotton claims to Barr that Google dominates search volume, also noting that more than 90-percent of online searches worldwide are conducted through the search engine giant.

The Senator wrote, “More than 90% of global searches are conducted through Google’s search engine, suggesting that Google has a monopoly of internet searches by any objective standard. While monopolistic behavior alone should warrant Department action, it’s even more alarming that reports suggest Google is using that monopoly to achieve political goals and influence American elections.”

But the real kicker is when Cotton notes that Google CEO Sundar Pichai might claim the company does not manipulate search results for political purposes, but a leaked internal document from inside the internet giant proves that’s a lie.

Cotton wrote, “In December 2018, Google CEO Sundar Pichai testified before Congress that Google did not ‘manually intervene’ on any search results. A source from Google, however, later reported to a news outlet that YouTube (owned by Google) manipulated search results related to abortion after a left-wing journalist complained about the prominence of pro-life videos on YouTube. After the journalist’s inquiry, the search results were manipulated to feature more content supporting abortion from left-wing media.”

The Wall Street Journal exposed this corruption before that demonstrates how Google manipulates its algorithm to block conservatives and right-wing media.

Cotton concludes, “Because of Google’s domination of the search engine market, the consequences of Google suppressing conservative views is particularly pernicious. A recent study, in fact, examined five experiments involving the ‘search engine manipulation effect’ and concluded that ‘biased search rankings can shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20% or more[.]’ With the manipulation of these search engine rankings masked, ‘people show no awareness of the manipulation.’ I think you would agree, the idea a monopolistic company can hold such sway over American voters is deeply concerning.”

There is no question that Google is a huge part of the Deep State and is heavily invested in Deep State efforts to remove Trump at any cost and by any means.

You can’t argue otherwise with these specific unveilings. Google is not the company that you think it is. It’s highly manipulative and a danger to American free speech. They must be investigated and held accountable.
