Everyone knows CNN makes up the news to help the Democrat Party.
But their latest attempts to help the left could be downright criminal.
A CNN scandal has erupted as shocking revelations about the disgraced news outlet comes to light.
From failure to report on the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, to the Washington Post’s admitted false reporting about former President Trump, the outright lying from the so-called mainstream media has turned into a scandal of its own.
While Americans have come to expect being lied to by the media, they don’t expect the media to be part of an actual criminal conspiracy.
Last week, CNN correspondent Ed Lavandera ran with a story about a group of smugglers ferrying illegal aliens across the Rio Grande in motorboats.
According to Lavandera, his shocking and exclusive video captured the operation going down in real time.
Only one problem – the video was fake.

The American Prospect noted that activists “flagged” the “unusual video” and suggested it was “deliberately manufactured to present a story of a border crisis.” The activists also speculated that Border Patrol participated in the alleged “staged” event, The American Prospect reported.
“In the CNN footage, the smuggler leading the boat wears fatigues and a black ski mask,” according to the article. “Smugglers typically attempt to blend in with the migrants, to avoid more severe punishment should they be caught. Smugglers also don’t normally provide face masks and life vests, nor ferry six boatloads of people across in broad daylight. Migrants also don’t typically line up single file along the shore to cross.”
Because of their “open the gates” immigration policy, the Biden administration has been forced to downplay the very real border crisis that’s resulted in rampant chaos, violence, and disease.
Thousands of illegal alien children are being crammed into unsafe and unclean facilities, meanwhile, Biden has put a gag order on Border Patrol from telling the press anything.
But instead of exposing the crisis at the border, CNN has taken to fabricating their own videos and staging illegal border crossings.
While the blackout from the Biden administration is absolutely appalling, when is it ever the media’s job to make up stories from thin air?
The duty of the media is to report the facts, not make them up.
Of course, for our readers, this fake reporting is nothing new. Deep State Journal has been following outlets like CNN and frequently expose their fake news efforts.
