Donald Trump Just Said the One Thing About Amy Coney Barrett No One Saw Coming

Former President Trump fought hard to make sure Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh were confirmed to the Supreme Court.

And he, like most conservatives, expected good things.

But now Donald Trump just said the one thing about Amy Coney Barrett no one saw coming.

Conservatives have applauded the Trump administration – and Trump in particular – for his massive tax cuts, foreign policy victories, and the huge economic boom.

But what many considered his greatest accomplishment was his successful nominations to the federal judiciary.

In all, Trump saw 234 federal judges confirmed, including three Supreme Court Justices.

The confirmations of Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, despite the hate-filled campaigns launched against them by the left, were huge victories for conservative Americans.

But it didn’t last long.

In an exclusive interview on Just the News’ “Water Cooler,” Trump said of Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh, “I fought very hard for them. But I was very disappointed with a number of their rulings.”

Trump was referring to the Supreme Court’s recent 7-2 ruling on June 17th to uphold the Obamacare individual mandate.

“Second guessing does no good. But I was disappointed with a number of rulings that they made,” Trump went on.

While Trump did not mention any other particular court rulings, there have been a number of recent decisions that have shocked conservatives.

In the case of Fulton v. the City of Philadelphia, which we reported on earlier, Justice Samuel Alito stated his disappointment in the ruling:

“This decision might as well be written on the dissolving paper sold in magic shops.  The City has been adamant about pressuring CSS to give in, and if the City wants to get around today’s decision, it can simply eliminate the never-used exemption power. If it does that, then, voila, today’s decision will vanish—and the parties will be back where they started….What is the point of going around in this circle?”

Many observers and several sources within the Supreme Court believe it is Chief Justice John Roberts who has kept Barrett and Kavanaugh in check on a number of cases.

Only time will tell whether Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh will stand up to Chief Justice Roberts or become two more of his Deep State flunkies.
