One Disgraced Lincoln Project Shill Just Joined Hands with Chuck Schumer on This Issue

Conservatives are furious with this Lincoln Project charlatan and former RNC Chairman.

We knew the Lincoln Project was bad, but they continue to bend over backwards to show just how morally bankrupt they are.

Because now this disgraced Lincoln Project shill has joined hands with Chuck Schumer.

The filibuster hasn’t received this much media coverage since Senator Rand Paul staged an almost 13-hour filibuster back in 2013.

Democrats are pushing hard to eliminate the filibuster after previously supporting it.

So far, all Senate Republicans, along with Democrat Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Democrat Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, and Independent Angus King of Maine have stood firm against ending the hallowed Senate tradition.

And darn good thing they have.

Without the filibuster, who knows what Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer (not to mention Kamala Harris and the Squad) would have rammed into law by now.

But then here comes former RNC Chairman and current MSNBC analyst Michael Steele who says ending the filibuster is “common sense.”

According to Steele, the filibuster is used as a “political insider’s game” and gives politicians the ability to “not have to deal with the big policy.”

Steele also said that Republican state voter laws were “stripping away our access to the ballot box.”

Have we mentioned Steele is a part of the infamous Lincoln Project – best known for its anti-Trump activities, anti-Republican ads, and at least one founder’s penchant for preying on young men.

While many pundits have known Steele to be a liberal quasi-Republican for years, making these statements publicly and attacking the party he supposedly aligns with has some wondering what his long-term motives might be.

Steele headed the Republican Party from 2009 to 2011, during the time Republicans won back the House thanks to the 2010 Ron Paul and Tea Party revolution.

Yet, fundraising suffered during Steele’s time as RNC Chairman and many pundits believe he had become so liberal by this time that he was unable to capitalize on the Tea Party, unlike many of his establishment cohorts.

In response to Steele’s support for eliminating the filibuster, several took to Twitter to air their grievances.

Stephen L. Miller tweeted, “When a Democrat Senator from Arizona understands things better than the former head of the RNC,” referring to Democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema’s recent op-ed defending the filibuster.

Another tweet stated, “This is coming from the man who put the RNC convention in Tampa, Florida, during hurricane season soooo…”

And former Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh called Steele a “phony.”

Steele is a disgruntled, so-called Republican who joined the disgraced Lincoln Project PAC last year after jumping aboard the “Never Trump” train.

Donald Trump did a lot for the country – but one of his greatest achievements was getting all the liberals dressed in conservative clothing to out themselves.

For that alone we should be forever grateful.
