Joe Biden’s poll numbers continue to plummet.
His mismanagement of the economy, foreign policy, along with his family’s dirty laundry have the American people in an uproar.
And now Hunter Biden’s latest scandal is forcing White House press secretary Jen Psaki to take this action.
Jen Psaki and Joe Biden rarely appear to be on the same page, which isn’t a good look for the President of the United States and his top mouthpiece.
It’s commonplace for Psaki to totally butcher a Biden statement or not even know what her boss thinks on any given issue.
Of course, given that many wonder if Joe Biden even knows what’s going on, this is no surprise.
But one thing Jen Psaki does know is to keep all talk of Hunter Biden out of the White House press briefings at any cost.
For months, most of the mainstream media ignored the clear evidence of Hunter’s antics and conflicts of interest – some of which could very well be illegal.
But now, with so much overwhelming evidence coming out, reporters are beginning to ask probing questions about things such as Hunter Biden’s part-ownership in a Communist Chinese investment firm.
Psaki, not wanting to address anything about Hunter Biden, has evaded these questions saying only that Hunter “has been working to wind that down.”
Last week, the Washington Examiner reported that Chinese business records indicated Hunter Biden still holds a 10% equity stake in Bohai Harvest RST Equity Investment Fund (BHR) located in Shanghai.
BHR has made extensive investments in multiple controversial Chinese companies.
When a reporter pressed Psaki about Biden’s pledge in late 2020 that his family would not be involved in “any business, any enterprise that is in conflict with or appears to be in conflict with an appropriate distance from the presidency and government,” Psaki passed the buck and told reporters they needed to speak with Hunter’s representatives about such matters, not Joe Biden.
“He doesn’t work in the administration,” Psaki stated.
When the Washington Examiner asked deputy press secretary, Andrew Bates, if Hunter had followed through on his divestment yet, Bates simply stated, “We refer you to Jen’s comments and Hunter Biden’s representatives.”
It’s clear the Biden administration – promised by Joe Biden to be “the most transparent ever” – is once again refusing to be held accountable and provide transparency.
It’s easy to promise things before your president, but apparently not so easy to follow through once you’re in the Oval office.
At least not for Joe Biden.
