FBI Regularly Breaks Rules When Targeting Political Figures Like Donald Trump
The Deep State has taken hold of the Department of Justice.
And the FBI hasn’t been able to escape the clutches of Deep State activists either.
Now a recent audit shows that the FBI routinely breaks its own rules when targeting political figures like Donald Trump.
The Deep State Journal has been reporting on the problems in the FBI and Department of Justice for a number of years.
The corruption and weaponization of these federal law enforcement agencies for political purposes has been going on since at least the Obama years and has been mostly overlooked by both parties – even as countless men and women have been caught up in corrupt DOJ and FBI political investigations.
And in classic “F*&% Up and Move Up” swamp fashion, those involved aren’t punished, they are promoted.
Now a 2019 internal review of FBI procedures has found that agents routinely violated major rules when investigating “politicians, candidates, religious groups, news media and others,” according to The Washington Times.
The audit was revealed in a lawsuit brought on by CATO Institute after one Justice Department official pleaded guilty to falsifying a warrant in a case involving President Donald Trump – just as Texas Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar (a critic of President Biden’s border policies) was raided by FBI agents only a few weeks before his Democrat primary election.
The extensive review covered 353 cases and found a shocking 747 instances of agents ignoring or breaking rules over an 18-month period.
“These errors included agents’ failure to obtain approval from senior FBI officials to start an investigation, failure to document a necessary legal review before opening an investigation and failure to tell prosecutors what they were doing,” the Times article stated.
