This congressman held nothing back as he accused the Obama Administration of these crimes.
The former prosecutor wants the Department of Justice to investigate crimes committed under Obama’s watch.
And Barack Obama is furious that Donald Trump’s pick for intelligence post said this.
Barack Obama continues on the speaking circuit raking in millions of dollars and claiming his was the only scandal-free presidency in recent history.
Of course, that fallacy has been proven wrong by numerous pundits from both sides of the aisle.
Operation Fast and Furious, the Iran Nuke deal, IRS abuses and targeting, the Benghazi disaster, drone strikes on American citizens, the Clinton email scandal, the biggest data breach in the federal government’s history, the more than 40 deaths at VA Hospitals; are just a few of the Obama administration’s top scandals.
And of course now we know of another scandal, the Russian Collusion hoax started by the Obama State Department with aid from the Obama FBI and CIA.
More and more evidence is coming out that Obama’s FBI, CIA, State Department, and possibly even the White House itself, were complicit in both the planning and carrying out of the Russia collusion hoax by working with the Clinton campaign.
And now, at least one congressman is convinced members of the Obama Administration committed crimes, and this congressman just happens to be President Trump’s pick to be Director of Intelligence.
Congressman John Ratcliffe (R-TX-4) spoke out just hours before President Trump announced he was the President’s pick to head up the intelligence community.
While on Fox Business Network, Ratcliffe made no bones about it and told host Maria Bartiromo that members of the Obama administration broke the law.
Democrats “accused Donald Trump of a crime, and then they try and reverse-engineer a process to justify that accusation,” he continued.
“I’m not going to accuse any specific person of any specific crime. I just want there to be a fair process to get there,” Ratcliffe stated. “What I do know, as a former federal prosecutor, is that it does appear that there were crimes committed during the Obama administration.”
Ratcliffe indicated his disgust with the entire spectacle especially castigating the Democrats’ presumption of guilt, and the refusal to investigate the origins of the Steele dossier, Comey’s leaks to the press, the role of the Clinton campaign, and Fusion GPS.
The Trump nominee would like DOJ to investigate further.
“Now the things that Bob Mueller said he didn’t know about and his team clearly didn’t look at, those are things that would be fair for Bill Barr and the Department of Justice to look at,” Ratcliffe explained.
“We know that things happened in the Obama administration that haven’t been answered. There’s been no accountability for that yet.”
Ratcliffe also spent time discussing the leaking of classified phone transcripts involving former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
“His phone call with the Russian ambassador was a highly classified NSA intercept. Someone in the Obama administration leaked that call to The Washington Post. That’s a felony,” he said.
It was Ratcliffe of course who tweeted earlier this year that disgraced former FBI agent Lisa Page had confirmed that the FBI was ordered by the Obama administration not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence for her handling of classified information.
One can only think that in his new role as head of Intelligence, Ratcliffe may be able to get some of these investigations moving forward.
