The current “whistleblower” attacks on President Trump are the latest attempts by anti-American Deep State operatives embedded in our government.
The made-up Ukrainian scandal is another volley in the battle for control between the people and the power elites in Washington, DC.
And while Deep State attacks on Presidents is nothing new, recent attempts to remove the duly-elected President are dangerous in a new way.
Much has been written in the past weeks about the “Ukrainian phone call scandal,” “whistleblowers,” “abuse of power,” and of course impeachment.
What’s lost in all of this is the real battle going on.
It’s not a battle between Trumpers and Never-Trumpers, Adam Schiff and Donald Trump, the media and the truth, or Republicans vs. Democrats – although all of them are elements in the fight.
No, the war is between the forces of the elite (in the media, in both parties, within the intelligence community, and Hollywood) and the freedom-loving and Constitution-abiding Americans.
It’s much more than Hillary calling Trump supporters “deplorables,” or Bill Kristol leading a band of “Never-Were” Republicans in a race to see who can move the farthest left the fastest.
It’s a battle for the very existence of our nation. And it really has nothing to do with Donald Trump except for making him the scapegoat.
As Angelo Codevilla writes in a very timely piece, “Shamelessness and Ignorance Unlimited” in American Greatness:
“The CIA whistleblower ‘scandal’ is nothing of the sort. It’s about the constitutional power of the president to make foreign policy—and obligation of the intelligence community to submit to the president’ authority. No more, no less.”
Codevilla goes on to say:
“The U.S. intelligence community’s leaders, the Democratic Party, and the media (excuse the redundancy) are trying to convince Americans that President Trump’s conversation with, and perhaps promises to, an unnamed foreign leader amounts to some sort of constitutional crisis. Never mind that the Constitution vests “the executive Power” in the “President of the United States,” a power that includes “by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties . . . appoint ambassadors and other public ministers . . . ” The Constitution also says the president “shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States.”
Codevilla correctly points out that the Deep State is nothing new.
These same anti-American operatives effectively sabotaged the Presidencies of Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and to a lesser degree, even Barak Obama.
You see, the Deep State traitors know no party, no philosophy, no allegiance or principles. They only know that they’re smarter than everyone else, therefore, everyone else is expendable.
They are a movement that favors unlimited wars, abortion on demand, euthanasia, and the destruction of the third world in effort to bring about a new world order.
The only difference now is that they’re emboldened like never before – thanks to their newly-formed alliances with the media, socialists, the Democrat Party, and Never-Trump consultant class.
Codevilla explains:
“Contrary to the nonsense conservatives hear on Fox News, the CIA has always been more interested in, and capable of, influencing U.S. policy and politics, as well as in spreading progressivism, than it is in learning about foreigners’ secrets. From the beginning, it has been addicted to cronyism and allergic to quality control. It takes what comes over the transom, and calls it good. Over the years, its combination of professional incompetence and political presumption spread to the FBI.”
That’s the fight we all face now.
These nameless, faceless, Ivy League bureaucrats have no use for the Constitution or the Founding Fathers.
They see them as a bunch of religious zealots and peasant farmers who wrote a document that should be followed more as a suggestion than a requisition.
This is a war, and if we are to win, we must first realize who are true enemy is.
