For Democrats, it’s never been about the people. It’s always been about power.
Everything is done in the hopes of expanding their iron fisted grip on America.
And Nancy Pelosi’s latest power grab is one that threatens us all.
There is currently a Democrat bill in Congress dubbed the “For the People Act” (H.R. 1/S. 1).
It can be stated without any uncertainty that this bill is the biggest power grab in the history of the United States.
If passed and signed into law, H.R. 1/S. 1 would federalize all elections and force states to turn over all election operations to the federal monolith.
Some of the worst parts of the legislation will require all states, no matter what state law says, to use state databases like the DMV, public education rolls, and public health departments to register all adult citizens to vote.
And since those who are here illegally come in contact with state and local government agencies on a regular basis, we can only surmise that they, too, will be automatically registered to vote.
Under H.R. 1/S. 1, the federal government would insert its power over the states and, in effect, take away the individual states’ power to decide how to conduct their own elections.
It’s no wonder that dozens and dozens of even liberal state election officials have come out against this bill.
The bill also threatens a huge federal criminal penalty for state and local government officials should they dare to clarify someone’s legal status during the registration process.
Democrat leaders know that illegal immigrants, who will receive taxpayer funded aid once in the U.S., are future Democrat votes.
They will vote illegally with no fear of repercussions and that is the radical left’s expectation with this new bill.
The House passed H.R. 1/S. 1 in March and awaits action in the Senate.
Currently, the only way the bill can come up is if the Senate gets rid of the filibuster.
That’s why all Americans should contact their Senators right away and urge them to oppose H.R. 1/S. 1 on every single vote and oppose any efforts to do away with the filibuster.
