It’s the interview heard around the world.
Fox News host Chris Wallace sat down with President Trump and ridiculed Trump over his comment that Joe Biden wants to defund the police.
But it turns out President Trump was absolutely right and we have the proof.
Fox News lost one of its biggest anti-Trump critics, Shep Smith, last year. That means the only Trump critic left is Chris Wallace, who recently sat down with President Trump for an interview.
During the interview, Trump commented that Biden wants to defund the police when Wallace snapped back, “No sir, he does not!”
Here a transcript of their exchange:
WALLACE: Liberal Democrats have been running cities in this country for decades.
TRUMP: Poorly.
WALLACE: Why is it so bad right now?
TRUMP: They run them poorly, it was always bad but now it’s gotten totally out of control and it’s really because they want to defund the police. And Biden wants to defund the police.
WALLACE: No he, sir, he does not.
TRUMP: Look. He signed a charter with Bernie Sanders; I will get that one just like I was right on the mortality rate. Did you read the charter that he agreed to with…
WALLACE: It says nothing about defunding the police.
TRUMP: Oh really? It says abolish, it says — let’s go. Get me the charter, please.
WALLACE: All right.
TRUMP: Chris, you’ve got to start studying for these.
WALLACE: He says defund the police?
TRUMP: He says defund the police. They talk about abolishing the police. They talk about illegal aliens pouring …
WALLACE: I look, I look forward – I look forward to seeing that.

Well, turns out there is proof.
Earlier this month, liberal commentator Ady Barkan hosted Biden on his podcast.
Barkan asked Biden, “Do we agree that we can redirect some of the [police] funding?”
Biden responded, “Yes, absolutely.”
As President Trump noted about Biden, “He may use different words, but when you look at his pact with Crazy Bernie, and other things, that’s what he wants to do. It would destroy America!”
This all stems from the legitimate protests over the horrible death of George Floyd.
But now, it’s gone far beyond any semblance of legitimate protest to left-wing radicals calling for police departments to be defunded and the money redirected to welfare and education programs.
While the thin blue line is a real thing, the liberals are taking anecdotal events of police brutality and vilifying the police force in its entirety.
After Biden’s clear statement on defunding the police, the campaign went into damage control. A spokesperson for the presidential candidate said, “Biden supports the urgent need for reform — including funding for public schools, summer programs, and mental health and substance abuse treatment separate from funding for policing — so that officers can focus on the job of policing.”
If Joe Biden wins the election in November, defunding the police will likely happen early in his administration. And they’ll push for gun reform too – that’s what a Biden America would look like.
