The 2020 elections aren’t official yet and it’s still not certain Joe Biden will be the next president.
But that’s not stopping Democrats from acting as if he is.
However, Nancy Pelosi is telling her fellow Democrats not to join the Biden administration for one shocking reason.
The Democrat Party is clearly in turmoil.
The highly expected “Blue Wave” turned out to be nothing more than a ripple and Democrats may end up worse off than they were before the elections.
In fact, in many state legislatures around the country, they are.
And nowhere did expectations fall so short than in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Political “experts” were predicting a massive “Blue Tsunami,” while some of the Never-Trump GOP consultant class had forecasted Republicans losing as many as 25-30 seats in the House.
Instead, we saw Republicans pick up at least 12 seats – and possibly more once all the counting and recounting is finished.
In fact, as it stands right now, the Democrats majority in the House will be the smallest since World War II.
And Speaker Nancy Pelosi is in danger of losing her speakership as Republicans are looking to join with unhappy Democrats to remove her.
Understandably, Pelosi is more upset than when she got caught maskless in a hair salon.
And the fear of being ousted has caused Nancy to make some bizarre moves – like calling on House Democrats to refuse positions in a potential Biden administration.
According to Deep State Journal sources on Capitol Hill, both Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer are spreading this message.
The New York Post also reported that a “Democratic Party official who’s been briefed by Democratic congressional reps” said that “Nancy is telling House members, ‘Now is not the time to leave.’”
Since any vacancies created by House members joining a presidential administration are filled by special elections, this means Republicans would have a chance to gain even more seats.
Which explains why Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia said, “The Biden administration has to be a lot more sensitive of where you come from if you’re looking at members of Congress. We cannot afford to put any seats in jeopardy.”
However, Pelosi’s wishes appear to be going unnoticed as Louisiana Democrat House member Cedric Richmond has already been tapped to serve in a Biden White House.
Well, that’s assuming if Biden actually wins.
