James Comey liked to portray himself as a knight in shining armor.
The former FBI Director used his allies in the fake news media to create a myth about him being a lonely outpost of honesty in the Washington swamp.
But this FBI whistleblower revealed the terrible truth about James Comey’s treason against Donald Trump.
Last year, the bombshell news broke that the FBI deployed a spy to infiltrate the Trump campaign.
The FBI used Cambridge professor Stefan Halper to pump George Papadopoulos for information after an Australian diplomat said Papadopoulos told him the Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton.
James Comey and other Deep State agents lied about this being the start of “Operation Crossfire Hurricane” – the codename given to the FBI probe of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.
Halper’s espionage mission failed and the FBI swore up and down that Halper was the only undercover agent deployed to spy on the Trump campaign.
But that turned out to be a lie.
Lisa Page – the woman disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok carried on an affair with – shed light on one of the most infamous bombshells in the FBI “spygate” scandal.
Page explained to lawmakers the truth behind the notorious “insurance policy” text Strzok sent her during the 2016 campaign.
“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office — that there’s no way [Trump] gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok texted Page.
“It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40,” Strzok concluded.
Many Americans believed that text referred to the Russia investigation and how Comey, McCabe, Strzok and Page could use the probe to bring down Trump should he win the election.
But as Page described to lawmakers, it was even more sinister than that.
The truth was, Strzok’s “insurance policy” was a high-level mole connected to the Trump campaign and the Russian government that was feeding the Bureau information.
“As I sort of explained, if he is not going to be President, then we don’t need to burn longstanding sources and risk sort of the loss of future investigative outlets, not in this case, but in other Russia-related matters,” Page testified last summer.
“Well, the only reason the debate is relevant is because we, the team, again, like sort of through Director Comey, were trying to decide how aggressive or not aggressive, or do we burn sources or not burn sources or do we use X tools or Y tools, and all of that was based on the likelihood, not based on the likelihood of success but was being weighed against the likelihood of success,” Page added.
A never-ending series of shoes continue to drop in this scandal.
But every time Congress fights for more disclosure and transparency the FBI hides behind the danger to “sources and methods.”
That excuse is as phony as a three dollar bill.
Accusations of Russian collusion and Deep State treason have torn the country to pieces the last two years.
The only way to move past this crisis is for the President to rip the band-aid off and declassify everything so the American people finally see the full picture of the FBI’s treachery during the 2016 campaign.
