This former FBI Deep State operative and Clinton-crony just got word that the worst is yet to come.
Following his termination in 2018, he tried to sue the DOJ and Trump administration.
But now this disgraced American traitor just got the news he feared the most.
The Department of Justice has rejected former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe‘s appeal to avoid indictment for lying to federal investigators, according to Fox News.
As readers of Deep State Journal remember, McCabe was fired in March 2018 after the Inspector General determined he displayed a “lack of candor” (i.e. lied) on at least four separate occasions during the FBI’s investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
According to Fox, McCabe was informed via a DOJ email,which read in part:
“The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office.”
Also according to Fox, U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has officially recommended moving forward with charges against McCabe.
It was just last month that McCabe sued the Justice Department and Attorney General William Barr over his termination by the Trump administration.
McCabe claimed it was part of President Trump’s “plan and scheme” to rid the FBI of people he thought were biased towardsHillary Clinton.
Well, of course.
Any President should have the right to remove disloyal staff, just like any other employer can, and should, do.
Especially when that staff member is actively trying to remove a duly–elected President with an actual coup.
McCabe, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and FBI lawyer and paramour,Lisa Page, had reportedly discussed wearing a wire or invoking the 25th Amendment in a covert effort to remove Trump from office.
According to former top FBI lawyer James Baker, “There are these — some number of conversations with the deputy attorney general about what to do next, what needs to be done. My recollection is numerous topics were discussed, and these [the 25th Amendment issue and the wire] were among them.”
McCabe also had a leading role in the Trump-Russia investigation, which has now been debunked as an elaborate hoax the Deep State had hoped would pass the muster and get Trump impeached.
Following McCabe’s interview with “60 Minutes” in February this year, President Trump described McCabe as “a big part of the Crooked Hillary scandal, the Russia hoax as well as for being a puppet for Leakin’ James Comey.”
Never one to mince words, Trump continued and said, “McCabe is a disgrace to the FBI and a disgrace to our country.”
So, we will wait and see if the DOJ goes through with the indictment and prosecution of McCabe – along with the rest of his co-conspirators.
