Despite being a refugee welcomed into this country, this radical leftist “Squad” member hates America and all we stand for.
If there was any doubt about her true feelings for the United States, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar just put them all to rest.
Because Ilhan Omar literally just committed treason by saying this shocking thing.
Most Americans who follow politics know of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). She is the Somali refugee who came to America, possibly married her own brother to stay here, then paid her new husband almost $1 million in campaign money.
She is a rabid leftist who has made no bones about her disdain for the American way of life.
But now Omar has taken it one step further and is calling for the “dismantling” of the U.S. economy and its entire political system.
During a speech she gave last week, Omar said:
“As long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out, we will perpetuate this inequality,” Omar said. “So, we cannot stop at [the] criminal justice system. We must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it.”
In addition to her radical projects and beliefs, Omar is an outspoken supporter of the violently socialist Black Lives Matter movement and has repeatedly called for systematic changes to law enforcement, housing, and the healthcare systems.
“I will never stop saying: Not only do we need to disinvest from police, but we need to completely dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department, the Minneapolis Police Department is rotten to the root. And so, when we dismantle it, we get rid of that cancer, and we allow for something beautiful to arise, and that reimagining allows us to figure out what public safety looks like for us,” Omar declared last month.
As Black Lives Matter organizers threaten to “burn down” the U.S. system of democracy if elected leaders do not comply with their demands, the organization’s co-founder declared, “I said if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down the system and replace it. All right?”
Rather than reject these calls for violent overthrow of the government, Omar has joined in on the call to action to dismantle our system of government.
Her language is both a direct violation of her oath of office to protect and defend the constitution and an actual overt act of treason.
As a member of the infamous “Squad,” Omar is joined with fellow socialists Reps.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib, who rail against capitalism as a system of oppression used by rich, white people against the poor and people of color.
It’s time for Ilhan Omar and others like her to be held accountable for their words which are, at the very least, fomenting violence and death throughout the nation – and at worst, could usher in the fall of our government.
