Big Tech Set to Purge This Page from the Internet in a Sick Ironic Twist

The Big Tech censors are continuing their purge of all things conservative, but now they’re going even further.

And it looks like they are set to purge a page because it opposes mass killings.

But Big Tech is still set to purge this page in a sick and ironic twist.

Facebook finally admitted in open court what we’ve known from the beginning – their fact-checkers don’t actually check facts; they issue only opinion.

And Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey finally stepped down only to be replaced by a leftist jihadist who seems hell-bent on purging every single conservative voice from the platform.

Now Wikipedia has joined the fray.

You know Wikipedia? “Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject, so you know you are getting the best possible information.” Well, at least according to “The Office’s” Michael Scott.

But now Wikipedia seems all set to purge the “Communist Mass Killings” page citing, get this, its “anti-communist bias.”

Well, yeah, one would assume a page dedicated to the mass murder of millions of people by the communists might be just a tad anti-communist.

Is Wikipedia getting rid of the Holocaust page because of its anti-Nazi bias?

Visitors to the “Mass killings under communist regimes” Wikipedia entry were recently greeted with a disclaimer that the page “is being considered for deletion” for a number of reasons including so-called “neutrality” issues and “factual inaccuracies.”

What are the factual inaccuracies? Well supposedly that all the killings done by communist leaders can’t really be penned on communism. Really?

“A specter is haunting Europe—the specter of Communism.” This is the preamble to Karl Marx’s “The Communist Manifesto,” which is in fact the document responsible for inspiring some of the worst dictators in human history.

Evil men like Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot all used the words penned by Karl Marx to justify their atrocious acts of horrific and unspeakable violence.

But it’s OK, Wikipedia doesn’t want you to know about communism’s legacy of death and ruin. That wouldn’t be fair to communism according to the geniuses at Wikipedia.

Lee Edwards, distinguished fellow at The Heritage Foundation’s B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies, sees the attempt to downplay and censor the death and destruction wrought by communist regimes as incredibly dangerous.

“All of the great leaders, whether it was Lenin, or Stalin, or Mao, or Pol Pot, all of them were ideologues who were driven by a particular philosophy, and that philosophy had to do with Karl Marx,” Edwards told The Daily Signal, “So, therefore for Wikipedia to say that ideology does not matter when you’re talking about communism is absurd.”

Edwards continued, “You cannot have a tyrant like Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, without Karl Marx, without The Communist Manifesto, without the ideology.”

But there’s another side to this story that is just as damaging to Wikipedia editors who wish to wipe away the ruin of mass murder by communist dictators as being unrelated to communism.

Big Tech is becoming more and more confident in its ability to censor any and all discourse they find distasteful.

So Wikipedia, as one of the largest sources of so-called “impartial” information on the internet, wields enormous power on what people do, and more importantly do not, have access to.

Wikipedia’s efforts to delete the article represent a dangerous combination of censorship and communist flag waving. And given the fact that communism still represents a very real and very dangerous global threat, Wikipedia’s censorship actions represent a dire threat.

“There have been many victims of communism. They cannot be forgotten,” warns Edwards. “These voices of the victims are

calling out to us through the decades … Communist China continues to be a threat to the safety, prosperity, and freedom of the rest of the world.”

Wikipedia’s actions are just one more indication that Big Tech has chosen sides, and they’ve chosen the side of communism, not freedom.

We must remember this the next time they come asking for taxpayer subsidies or government handouts.

There are many ways to rein in Big Tech without imposing government on private companies. We can start with ending any and all taxpayer perks and benefits they get as long as they continue their un-American, pro-communist activities.
