The effort to get Trump and anyone who supported him is getting more and more intense.
And it seems Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and their comrades will violate any law and any part of the Constitution to destroy Trump.
Now it turns out Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 committee and Adam Schiff doctored these documents to do just that.
Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) is no stranger to bending the truth to get his way.
After all it was Schiff who leaked fake Donald Trump, Jr. emails.
And it was Schiff again who completely fabricated and submitted a phony transcript of a 2019 phone call between former President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s president.
Adam Schiff also lied about his interactions with the so-called “whistleblower” behind House Democrats’ first impeachment attempt of President Trump.
So it comes as no surprise to us here at Deep State Journal that the ultra-liberal Schiff was just caught running a con against a fellow congressman.
During a recent hearing on the January 6 “riot” at the U.S. Capitol, Adam Schiff boldly claimed he had proof that a member of Congress texted former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows instructing Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.
But it is Adam Schiff after all.
So, The Federalist conducted an investigation and not shockingly found clear evidence that “not only did Schiff misrepresent the substance of the text message and its source, he even doctored original text messages, which were obtained and reviewed by The Federalist in their entirety.”
The Federalist laid out the case in a December 15 article that was so well done the January 6 committee was forced to admit they had in fact doctored the text messages!
“I want to display just a few of the message[s] he received from people in Congress,” Schiff said, referring to Meadows. “The committee is not naming these lawmakers at this time as our investigation is ongoing. If we could cue the first graphic.”
“This one reads, ‘On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all,’” Schiff continued. “You can see why this is so critical to ask Mr. Meadows about. About a lawmaker suggesting that the former vice president simply throw out votes that he unilaterally deems unconstitutional in order to overturn a presidential election and subvert the will of the American people.”
But not only did the Democrat congressman lie about the substance and origin of the text message, he actually doctored the message and put the doctored message up on a screen he showed to the full committee.
The full text message was actually a forward, sent to Meadows by Congressman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, on Jan. 5. It was significantly longer than what Schiff read and put on screen.
That’s because Schiff erased large portions of the text and added punctuation where there was none to give the impression that Jordan himself was directing Meadows to give orders to Pence.
It turns out the original text was written and sent by attorney and former Department of Defense Inspector General Joseph Schmitz and included an attachment of a four-page document drafted by Schmitz.
This document laid out Schmitz’s legal reasoning for stating V.P. Pence had the constitutional authority to object to the certification of electoral votes submitted by some of the states.
The article was even published at the website everylegal.vote the next day and included the same timestamp on the document that Schmitz sent to Rep. Jordan.
“Good luck tomorrow!” Schmitz texted Jordan on the evening of Jan. 5, including the document as an attachment. Schmitz then texted to Jordan a three-paragraph summary of his Word document.
Schiff took this and sliced and diced it to his satisfaction and attributed it to Jordan.
Adam Schiff is a serial liar, a crook, and a stain on Congress. He should be thrown out of Congress and prosecuted.
Instead, he will be applauded by Nancy Pelosi and the left for his “creativity” and should the GOP take over Congress next year, Schiff will face no punishment for his illegal actions.
